Sarah possesses a Master of Music degree in guitar performance from San Francisco Conservatory of Music. A North Carolina native, she studied with Grammy-winner Sergio Assad. She also received an additional Bachelor degree from Florida State University, where she studied with Bruce Holzman. As a guitar instructor, she now enjoys teaching students of all age groups and levels in Los Angeles.

The lessons taught by Sarah are customized depending on the student’s interest and level. She is comfortable teaching a variety of styles, including fingerstyles, early to contemporary music, rhythm or lead playing, solo or ensemble, and more. In addition, she provides tutoring in music theory and history.

Sarah enjoys being a teacher at The Royal Music Academy and providing customized lessons for each individual student. She wants students to feel like they belong in a positive, supportive, and extensive community. Music has long been a part of her life and she is excited to introduce new students to the guitar, which can open up numerous opportunities for fun, personal expression, and growth.

Sarah teaches guitar to all levels and ages in Mar Vista, West Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Brentwood, Venice, Playa del Vista, West Hollywood, Miracle Mile, Los Feliz, Silverlake, Downtown Los Angeles, and more.
