Danny grew up in Detroit, Michigan and was constantly surrounded by the sounds of Arabic, Turkish, and Greek Music. It was these early experiences that have developed his love for rhythm and melody. He soon began to work with Scars on Broadway, Malakian’s new project. He recorded keyboards and percussion on the band’s debut album. He toured with the band in the U.S. and Europe, sharing the stage with names such as Deftones, Metallica, and The Raconteurs.

In 2009, Danny travelled to Iraq and Kuwait to play in multiple concerts with U.S. troops. Since then, he has played live with artists such as Trey Spruance, Billy Ray Cyrus, Roy Mayorga, Jesse Hughes, Mikey Doling, Dominic Ciffarelli, and Syrian musician Bashar Yohanoun.

Danny teaches percussion instruments to students of all age ranges throughout the neighborhoods of Burbank, Silverlake, Glendale, Los Feliz, Echo Park, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Hancock Park, West Los Angeles, Brentwood, and more.
